Dr. Vandana Shiva is trained as a Physicist and did her Ph.D. on the subject “Hidden Variables and Non-locality in Quantum Theory” from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. She later shifted to inter-disciplinary research in science, technology and environmental policy, which she carried out at the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India
In 1982, she founded an independent institute, the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology in Dehra Dun dedicated to high quality and independent research to address the most significant ecological and social issues of our times, in close partnership with local communities and social movements. In 1991, she founded Navdanya, a national movement to protect the diversity and integrity of living resources, especially native seed, the promotion of organic farming and fair trade. For the last two decades Navdanya has worked with local communities and organizations serving more than 5,00,000 men and women farmers. Navdanya’s efforts have resulted in conservation of more than 3000 rice varieties from all over the country and have established 60 seed banks in 16 states across the country. In 2004 she started Bija Vidyapeeth, an international college for sustainable living in Doon Valley in collaboration with Schumacher College, U.K.
Dr. Shiva combines the sharp intellectual enquiry with courageous activism. She is equally at ease working with peasants in rural India and teaching in Universities worldwide.
Time Magazine identified Dr. Shiva as an environmental “hero” in 2003 and Asia Week has called her one of the five most powerful communicators of Asia. Forbes magazine in November 2010 has identified Dr. Vandana Shiva as one of the top Seven most Powerful Women on the Globe
Dr. Shiva has contributed in fundamental ways to changing the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food. Her books, “The Violence of Green Revolution” and “Monocultures of the Mind” have become basic challenges to the dominant paradigm of non-sustainable, reductionist Green Revolution Agriculture. Through her books Biopiracy, Stolen Harvest, Water Wars, Dr. Shiva has made visible the social, economic and ecological costs of corporate led globalization. Dr. Shiva chairs the Commission on the Future of Food set up by the Region of Tuscany in Italy. She is a Board Member of the International Forum on Globalization and a member of the Steering Committee of the Indian People’s Campaign against WTO. She also serves on Government of India Committees on Organic Farming.
The area of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Biodiversity is another area where Dr. Shiva has contributed intellectually and through campaigns. Through her leadership and commitments, Dr. Shiva and her team at the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology successfully challenged the biopiracy of Neem, Basmati and Wheat. Besides her activism, she has also served on expert groups of government on Biodiversity and IPR legislation.
Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering are another dimension of Dr. Shiva’s campaigning internationally. She has helped movements in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Ireland, Switzerland and Austria with their campaigns against genetic engineering. In 2003, with movements worldwide she launched the global citizens campaign on the WTO GMO dispute between U.S and Europe.
Dr. Shiva’s contributions to gender issues are nationally and internationally recognized. Her book, “Staying Alive” dramatically shifted the perception of Third World women. In 1990 she wrote a report for the FAO on Women and Agriculture entitled, “Most Farmers in India are Women”. She founded the gender unit at the International Centre for Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu and was a founding Board Member of the Women Environment and Development Organization (WEDO).
She has initiated an international movement of women working of food, agriculture, patents and biotechnology called, Diverse Women for Diversity. The movement was launched formally in Bratislava, Slovakia on 1-2 May 1998. Diverse Women for Diversity has carried out studies for the National Commission of Women and the Department of Science and Technology.
Dr. Shiva is on the National Board of Organic Standards of India. She also works with the Governments of Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttaranchal for the promotion of organic farming. She has been invited by the Planning Commission to be a member of the expert group on environment, the expert group on nutrition and the expert group on voluntary sector.
She serves on Prince Charles’s expert group on Sustainable Agriculture. Dr. Shiva is a member of President Zapatero’s Scientific Committee. Dr. Vandana Shiva has also worked in a feature film “Harmony” along with HRH The Prince of Wales . Dr Shiva advises Governments worldwide and is working with the Government of Bhutan to make Bhutan 100% organic. She is working with the Governments of Tuscany and Rome to create a hopeful and livable future for young people in these times of crisis.

In 2011, Dr. Shiva was the Wayne Morse Chair at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

Alberto Oliverio is part of the editorial board of numerous scientific journals. He was a founding member of the Italian Society of Ethology and of the Italian Society of Neuroscience. He was president of the Italian Society of Ethology, the Italian Institute of Anthropology and the Italian Society of Neuroethics. Member of the Académie Européenne Internationale des Sciences, Paris. From 1966 to 1971 Anna Oliverio Ferraris worked at the University of Turin as an assistant to the Chair of Experimental Psychology. Since 1971 she has been a permanent assistant at the Psychology Degree Course at the University of Rome, where in 1975 she held the position of Developmental Psychology and since 1980 she has been full professor of Developmental Psychology. She was a member of the Rai Quality Committee and of the National Bioethics Committee. She is the author of essays, numerous scientific articles and school texts in which she addresses the issues of normal and pathological development, education, family, school, training, communication in different contexts, the relationship with TV and new media, of identity dynamics in contemporary society.
She has participated and continues to participate in numerous cultural conventions and conferences, both in Italy and abroad. She organized and participated as a teacher in training courses on problems of growth, new media, maladjustment, bullying, protective factors and recovery, adolescence, juvenile deviance, pedophilia, adoption, communication in the classroom and in the family, aimed at teachers, pediatricians, psychologists, psychotherapists and parents’ associations.
She has been collaborating regularly and for years with the following magazines: “Vita Scolastica”, “La scuola dell’Infanzia”, “Vita dell’Infanzia”, “Prometeo”. She directs the magazine of Italian psychologists “Contemporary Psychology”. She has been a regular collaborator for Corriere Salute (Corriere della Sera) for many years and now she writes occasionally for some newspapers and other magazines.

Enrico Bottero was a teacher, head teacher and for many years a researcher at the Regional Institute of Educational Research of Piedmont (formerly IR.R.S.A.E.). He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Childhood and Open Education, of the Scientific Committee of the Journal Encyclopaideia. He was Professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of Turin. He was Director of the School and Culture Office at the Consulates of Nice and Marseille (France). Antonella Valeria Ferro Acuna Solis (Peru) – is a psychologist by profession and graduate with a master’s degree in clinical psychology of childhood and adolescence education.
For 6 years she has worked on cruises with children from different countries between the ages of 3 and 11; the experience with them has led her to see the great differences in the education that exist with the disadvantaged children of Peru. For this reason she has decided to take action and try to do something for them. She started by independently supporting the children of Casas Hogares (childcare places) and over time saw the need to expand aid to more children in vulnerable situations; due to their socioeconomic status and the low budget that the government assigns to education, these children have little or no chance of receiving quality education.
That is why and thanks to the support of the Dutch organization Stichting El Fuego, she founded the NGO Los Niños del Fuego, whose main objective is to help children from vulnerable populations with academic difficulties to overcome them and to be able to form solid foundations for their educational development. She is well aware of the conditions or factors that damage children’s cognitive / emotional development, such as poor housing, lack of nutritious food and lack of education of parents at various points in their children’s development, thus in addition to providing support educational, also periodically offers nutritious food and organizes weekly workshops with adults and children where concepts such as nutrition, dental hygiene, correct hygiene habits, care of the environment, etc. are strengthened, and finally, thanks to agreements with various institutions, has managed to give this population at risk the opportunity to participate in workshops that stimulate the correct emotional development of children and the correct interaction between children and adults.

My name is Marian Blanco González, I was born in Valladolid (Spain). I studied the specialty of Special Education Teacher at the Faculty of Education (University of Valladolid), completing my initial training with the master’s degree on Psychopedagogy and one of the first European courses on Inclusive Education by the University of Exeter (UK).
Since 2000 I am working in the educational field; I started my career creating and founding a professional training module forwarded to youngers with mental health illness. I continued my working experience in different school levels (infant, primary, secondary and high schools) and in different roles (teacher, support teacher and pedagogical headmaster). On 2008 I obtained the research aptitude on the PhD Courses on Pedagogy.
On 2010 I started to conciliate my work at school with the work as an expert on the external team for supervising the compulsory diagnosis evaluations in primary schools. I completed my degree with specialization courses on autism, early-care education; diversity and gender, music therapy in education, active methodologies for promoting educational change, visual thinking and education in Europe. On 2014 I started to work as Head of the section for students with specific educational needs at the Regional Ministry of Education of Castle and León Autonomous Community (Spain).
Founder of the NGO Filomundo (www.filomundo.org), dedicated to support solidarity projects and actions with (and for) orphan children, many of them with disabilities, in the Republic of Buriatia (Siberia).
I am currently working as educational adviser in the General Directorate of Educational Organization, Educational Planning and Educational Equity in the Regional Ministry of Education already mentioned and I am the regional coordinator for European Education Projects linked to Equity in Education, inclusion and/or attention to diversity topics.

Lorenzo Luatti is a researcher on migration processes and intercultural relations at Oxfam Italy, where he deals, among other things, with projects and interventions to combat educational poverty and early school leaving. His studies cover the themes of intercultural pedagogy and teaching, the sociology of migration and intercultural mediation, “migrant” literature and literature for children. Paola Dusi (PhD) is Associate Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Verona and director of the “Inclusion & Diversity” research center. His research concerns educational processes in complex societies with particular attention to the two main educational institutions: family and school, according to an intersectional and decolonial approach, in an inclusive and social justice perspective.

Research interests
He has been involved, since the 1980s, with the problems of teaching philosophy by actively participating in the debate within the Italian Philosophical Society and in other locations.
Since the 1990s he has undertaken to introduce in Italy, together with other experts, the curriculum of M. Lipman’s “Philosophy for Children”, contributing to his experimentation in schools and research in this area. He has also developed research and experimentation in the area of the development of teaching professionalism on the basis of the model of “reflective professionalism” themed by Donald Schön and moving along a line of thought with a Deweyan matrix.
Currently the central theme of his research interests revolves around the theory-practice relationship, knowing-acting within the horizon of reflection on the epistemology of practical knowledge and with reference to the area of the development of teaching professionalism.

I am an elementary teacher working in the school since 1981

Giulio De Vivo is a primary school teacher, second level Ministerial trainer on the periodic and final evaluation of the learning of pupils and pupils in primary school classes (Ordinance 172 of December 4, 2020) and second-level teacher at the National Projects School Office for Marche, is the provincial referent for the Pesaro Urbino Student Council and PCTO. Graduated with honors in Pedagogy at the University of Urbino, he has taught since 1992 thanks to various qualifications (AA, EE, PP), he has been in the role of the Ministry since 2001.
He is territorial delegate for the Educational Cooperation Movement, has participated in the National Groups and the Editorial Staff, collaborates with the Action Research Department of the European Pole of Knowledge (www.europole.org) and has collaborated with GriMed, Proteo, University of Urbino, chaired Cultural and Social Promotion Associations and organized summer workshops for 25 years in the Pesaro area. He runs the site www.senzavoto.it. Recent publications: MCE publisher Research Action: Pedagogy of emancipation and evaluation, Essence of the School.
Professor Doctor Rosemary Sage is a qualified speech pathologist, psychologist and teacher; former Dean at the College of Teachers, where she led the first Practitioner Doctorate, sponsored by the European Commission.
She was Director of Speech and Language Services in Leicester/Leicestershire; a Teacher in Primary and Secondary schools; Senior Language Advisor to an LEA; an Academic in 4 universities: Head of Department and Professor of Communication at Liverpool and a visiting Professor in Cuba and Japan.
Rosemary is on the Queen’s Panel for Education and Industry Awards. She sat on the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee as a senior magistrate (Chairperson & Judicial Mentor) and is presently on the judicial executive and a member of the Magistrates in the Community (MIC) project. She is on a national committee for education, training and professional development.
Rosemary was a founder member of the Children’s Legal Panel and expert witness for Educational appeals; on Parliamentary Committees for Medicine and Education, the Teaching of Medical Sciences, Inclusion of Students with Special Needs & Education Advisor to the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. She has been a trustee of several charities, a school governor and member of many research boards. She has led international research projects on language, education and employment and medical-educational issues (e.g. Intercultural Communication Lead on the EU 27 Nation Project on Diversity). She has published many books and over 150 refereed papers in journals.
She has gained national/international awards for the Communication Opportunity Group Strategy (COGS) and is a winner of the Kenneth Allsop Memorial Prize, Bullard Prize, Gimson Award, International Human Communication Network Medal, The College of Teacher’s Research Award & Leverhulme Fellowship amongst others.
Rosemary is a Millennium & TCOT Fellow and SEND Director for the Learning for Life Educational Trust, as well as Scientific Advisor at Abai University, Kazakhstan and a Judge for the English Speaking Union.
My name is Jurgita Vaitiekuniene, I was born in Panevezys (Lithuania). In 1995 I graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute where I gained a qualification of Primary and basic school technology teacher. In 2002 I graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical University (LT), program of Basics of economics and business pedagogy. In 2014 I became a Master of Educational Leadership in ISM (University of Management and Economics).
Since 1995 I have been working in educational field (teacher, deputy director, headmistress). In addition to the position of director in the period of 2007-2018 I was employed as an external evaluator for the National School Evaluation Agency. I participated in external evaluation of more than 20 Lithuanian schools. Since 2012 I have been leading Panevėžys District Education Centre and also a department of Pedagogical –psychological service (Lithuania). The main fields of the Centre are development of teachers’ qualification, non-formal education of students in sports and a pedagogical psychological support for children, teachers and parents of Panevėžys district. I am a member of a wide range of working groups related to the formation of Lithuanian education policy, I actively contribute to the development and implementation of the education policy of Panevėžys district. In 2016 I established the Third Age University for seniors of Panevėžys district. At the moment the Third Age University is attended by 750 senior students.
Since 2016 I have been a partner of international Erasmus + KA2 and KA3 projects. I am responsible for coordination of the projects in Lithuania. The main fields of the projects are prosocial values, robotics, peaceful education, inclusive education and STEAM.
Together with my son I established an association “Tell me More” (https://vaitiekunasvilius.wixsite.com/papasakokplaciau). We founded the association in order to meaningfully contribute to Lithuanian culture, education and social life.

Elena Milli is a psychotherapist psychologist. She has experience with children and adolescents with special educational needs, behavioral or social difficulties. She is a Europe-wide trainer and expert in educational and prosocial robotics. She has been collaborating with Europole for 7 years as project officer and researcher in Horizon 2020 research and innovation projects and in other Erasmus + projects on inclusion, robotics, plus-endowment, immigration, bullying, STEM, adult education, etc. She coordinated an educational assistance service for adolescents at risk, structured psychological, educational and social interventions according to the individual needs of the students, working with teachers and parents, in collaboration with the social assistance service.

Activities in schools
Since 2013 I have carried out a series of school-work alternation projects “Spiriti Libri” with the Liceo Artistico Statale, the Liceo Messedaglia and the Liceo Agli Angeli in Verona, publishing various books written by the students.
Later I carried out numerous creative writing courses in primary and lower secondary school bringing the students’ stories to publication.
In collaboration with the European Pole of Knowledge I have collaborated on the projects “The influence of books”, “Pearl” ,“ Plastic free” and “Rights”, holding several meetings and lessons in schools and publishing as many books written by children.

Cultural promotion
As vice-president of the association Fantàsia I contributed to the installation of the monument to Salgari in front of the Civic Library of Verona and I gave life to some Fantasy and Adventure Festivals in Verona and in the province, with the participation of schools, authors, theatre companies and cultural associations.

My first short story appeared in 1978 on the pages of the Paduan magazine The time machine.
“Raised on bread and Urania”, I am a passionate reader and admirer of fiction, especially genre fiction. In my writings I often try to overturn the usual points of view to expose, under the spotlight of the fantastic and the absurd, the ambiguities of living.

Favolavà Project
Favolavà is a project open to everyone, which wants to promote the “expressive game” with the proposal of the theatre in suitcases equipped with puppets and everything is needed to make a family show and turn off the TV for one evening.
It was born at the end of the 80s, conceived by Marco Scacchetti who worked in the C.R.E.A cultural center of LEGAMBIENTE in Verona for an ecology of the mind. In 1994, the choice was made to give up the shows and offer only the theatres in suitcases.
The response was extraordinary. Even RAI 1 with the program “Pianeta Infanzia” told about their activity, in ’91 and in ’93, as well as many national newspapers.
Since 2007 Favolavà has been distributing the theatre suitcases weekly; up to today, more than a thousand Veronese families have used the suitcases, also thanks to the Civic Library of Verona, which has been distributing them since 2017.
Sharing is the aspect that characterized each phase of the project: from the building of the suitcases by volunteers, to distribution and promotion.
Since 2014 Favolavà has been proposing to schools to make the new suitcases together, and many Elderly Centers in the Municipality of Verona have worked on the project as well as many Veronese artists. In 2015 they were presented to the city with the Exhibition of Theatres of Authors at Palazzo della Gran Guardia. Since 2016 Favolavà has been a fixed appointment at the International Festival of Street Games in Verona, “Tocatì”
Thanks to the European Project Rights, promoted by the European Pole of Knowledge, the experience of Favolavà has reached Veronese schools and also other European countries, involving operators of international associations interested in the message of knowledge and awareness on human rights, thanks to the Fairy Tales in Suitcases.
Today there are more than 60 fairy tales in the suitcase that they offer for free to families and schools. Tamara Lapucci graduated with honors in Communication Sciences and holds a PhD in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Educational Psychology.
She currently works as Strategy Manager at Clementoni Spa in Recanati, a leading company in the production of children’s games.
She worked at the University of Macerata where she taught “Methodology and technique of child observation” and “Communication strategies” at the Faculty of Education. During her PhD she dealt with: long-life learning, training evaluation, online teaching, negotiation and communication strategies in educational contexts.
In Clementoni for 11 years she has been involved in research, organizing workshops and focus groups with children, parents and teachers as Area Test Manager, collecting data on the child’s world and monitoring changes in it in order to be able to intervene on the quality and innovativeness of the games produced by the agency.
As Strategy manager, today she collaborates with hospitals and care institutions, associations, universities in support of the “The social value of play” project, to promote and investigate the role of play. She provides training and consultancy to support the pedagogical quality of Clementoni games and activities. She manages external partnerships and participation in European projects with objectives related to gaming, STEAM, inclusion, human and environmental sustainability.

Sara Salardi is a primary school teacher working at the IC of Bussolengo. She has always been involved in the education of children and she obtained a diploma of didactic differentiation in the Montessori method. Two years ago she opened a Montessori experimental class where she currently works. She is an expert in educational robotics and technology and has gained a long experience as a trainer at her own institute and also in other public and private realities. She is the contact person in her Institute for educational robotics and belongs to the Robotics Department of the European Pole of Knowledge where she collaborates in various training activities with an experience also abroad. For some years she has been collaborating with the Clementoni Spa company in the field of research and development for the age of 6-12.

Maria Livia Alga, ethnographer of women’s political practices, is engaged in qualitative research on making community between schools, socio-health services and social movements. I am Héctor Pariente Martínez, born in San Sebastián (Spain) and living in Valladolid.
I have studied at the Faculty of Education of Valladolid the specialty of Musical Education, as well as professional guitar studies at the Conservatory.
Since 1997 I have been working as a teacher in Music Education, performing this task uninterruptedly until today. I have worked in rural schools for many years and I currently teach at the “El Peral” school located in a neighborhood in the city of Valladolid where I have held the role of head of studies for 4 years.
In addition, I have worked as a monitor of leisure and free time activities at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Cantabria) developing a journalism workshop.
In my first years of training, I studied Italian obtaining the Italian language certificate at the Official Language School of Valladolid.
During these almost 23 years as a teaching professional, I have been completing my specialization in different areas: how to motivate pupils to read, design and development of websites, educational management in primary schools; music and communication. I have also participated in various Congresses, Meetings, Seminars and Education Conferences
In addition, I have collaborated in the publication of the Popular Songbook made by the Foundation Guanelliani.
At present I am developing in my school the role of school coordinator of the Plastic free Project Movement within the Nobody less network. This allows me to carry out actions aimed at favoring the environment, always thanks to the collaboration of colleagues and teachers from different schools.
Dr. Vandana Shiva is trained as a Physicist and did her Ph.D. on the subject “Hidden Variables and Non-locality in Quantum Theory” from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. She later shifted to inter-disciplinary research in science, technology and environmental policy, which she carried out at the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India
In 1982, she founded an independent institute, the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology in Dehra Dun dedicated to high quality and independent research to address the most significant ecological and social issues of our times, in close partnership with local communities and social movements. In 1991, she founded Navdanya, a national movement to protect the diversity and integrity of living resources, especially native seed, the promotion of organic farming and fair trade. For the last two decades Navdanya has worked with local communities and organizations serving more than 5,00,000 men and women farmers. Navdanya’s efforts have resulted in conservation of more than 3000 rice varieties from all over the country and have established 60 seed banks in 16 states across the country. In 2004 she started Bija Vidyapeeth, an international college for sustainable living in Doon Valley in collaboration with Schumacher College, U.K.
Dr. Shiva combines the sharp intellectual enquiry with courageous activism. She is equally at ease working with peasants in rural India and teaching in Universities worldwide.
Time Magazine identified Dr. Shiva as an environmental “hero” in 2003 and Asia Week has called her one of the five most powerful communicators of Asia. Forbes magazine in November 2010 has identified Dr. Vandana Shiva as one of the top Seven most Powerful Women on the Globe
Dr. Shiva has contributed in fundamental ways to changing the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food. Her books, “The Violence of Green Revolution” and “Monocultures of the Mind” have become basic challenges to the dominant paradigm of non-sustainable, reductionist Green Revolution Agriculture. Through her books Biopiracy, Stolen Harvest, Water Wars, Dr. Shiva has made visible the social, economic and ecological costs of corporate led globalization. Dr. Shiva chairs the Commission on the Future of Food set up by the Region of Tuscany in Italy. She is a Board Member of the International Forum on Globalization and a member of the Steering Committee of the Indian People’s Campaign against WTO. She also serves on Government of India Committees on Organic Farming.
The area of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Biodiversity is another area where Dr. Shiva has contributed intellectually and through campaigns. Through her leadership and commitments, Dr. Shiva and her team at the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology successfully challenged the biopiracy of Neem, Basmati and Wheat. Besides her activism, she has also served on expert groups of government on Biodiversity and IPR legislation.
Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering are another dimension of Dr. Shiva’s campaigning internationally. She has helped movements in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Ireland, Switzerland and Austria with their campaigns against genetic engineering. In 2003, with movements worldwide she launched the global citizens campaign on the WTO GMO dispute between U.S and Europe.
Dr. Shiva’s contributions to gender issues are nationally and internationally recognized. Her book, “Staying Alive” dramatically shifted the perception of Third World women. In 1990 she wrote a report for the FAO on Women and Agriculture entitled, “Most Farmers in India are Women”. She founded the gender unit at the International Centre for Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu and was a founding Board Member of the Women Environment and Development Organization (WEDO).
She has initiated an international movement of women working of food, agriculture, patents and biotechnology called, Diverse Women for Diversity. The movement was launched formally in Bratislava, Slovakia on 1-2 May 1998. Diverse Women for Diversity has carried out studies for the National Commission of Women and the Department of Science and Technology.
Dr. Shiva is on the National Board of Organic Standards of India. She also works with the Governments of Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttaranchal for the promotion of organic farming. She has been invited by the Planning Commission to be a member of the expert group on environment, the expert group on nutrition and the expert group on voluntary sector.
She serves on Prince Charles’s expert group on Sustainable Agriculture. Dr. Shiva is a member of President Zapatero’s Scientific Committee. Dr. Vandana Shiva has also worked in a feature film “Harmony” along with HRH The Prince of Wales . Dr Shiva advises Governments worldwide and is working with the Government of Bhutan to make Bhutan 100% organic. She is working with the Governments of Tuscany and Rome to create a hopeful and livable future for young people in these times of crisis.

Dr. Shiva has been a visiting professor and lectured at the Universities of Oslo, Norway, Schumacher College, U.K. Mt. In 2011, Dr. Shiva was the Wayne Morse Chair at the University of Oregon in Eugene.
Dr. Shiva has received honorary Doctorates from University of Paris, University of Western Ontario, University of Oslo and Connecticut College, University of Guelph.

Alberto Oliverio is part of the editorial board of numerous scientific journals. He was a founding member of the Italian Society of Ethology and of the Italian Society of Neurosciences. E’ stato presidente della Società Italiana di Etologia, dell’Istituto Italiano di Antropologia e della Società Italiana di Neuroetica. Membro dell’Académie Européenne Internationale des Sciences, Parigi. Oltre ad organizzare e prendere parte a congressi e meeting nel campo specifico della biologia del comportamento e delle neuroscienze ha preso parte a numerose conferenze centrate sul tema dei rapporti tra neuroscienze -e biologia- e società tra cui quelle organizzate dall’Aspen Institute, dall’Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, dall’Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana, dalla Comunità Economica Europea,dall’Associazione Europea delle Neuroscienze . E’ autore di oltre 400 pubblicazioni scientifiche e di volumi nel campo della genetica del comportamento, del ruolo comportamentale degli oppioidi, dello stress e della memoria tra cui Genetics, Environment and Intelligence (Elsevier 1977), The Behavior of Human Infants (Plenum Press 1981) e The Psychobiology of Stress (Kluver, 1990). Anna Oliverio Ferraris dal 1966 al 1971 ha operato presso l’università di Torino come assistente alla cattedra di Psicologia Sperimentale. Dal 1971 è stata assistente di ruolo nel Corso di laurea in Psicologia dell’Università di Roma dove nel 1975 ha ricoperto l’incarico di Psicologia dell’età evolutiva e dal 1980 è professore ordinario di Psicologia dello sviluppo. E’ stata membro della Consulta Qualità della Rai e del Comitato Nazionale di Bioetica. E’ autrice di saggi, numerosi articoli scientifici e testi scolatici in cui affronta i temi dello sviluppo normale e patologico, dell’educazione, della famiglia, della scuola, della formazione, della comunicazione in contesti diversi, del rapporto con tv e nuovi media, delle dinamiche identitarie nella società contemporanea.
Ha partecipato e continua a partecipare a numerosi convegni culturali e conferenze, sia in Italia che all’estero. Ha organizzato e partecipato in qualità di docente a corsi di formazione sui problemi della crescita, i nuovi media, il disadattamento, il bullismo, i fattori protettivi e il recupero, l’adolescenza, la devianza minorile, la pedofilia, l’adozione, la comunicazione in classe e in famiglia, rivolti a insegnanti, pediatri, psicologi, psicoterapeuti e associazioni di genitori.
Collabora regolarmente e da anni con le seguenti riviste: “Vita Scolastica”, “La scuola dell’infanzia”, “Vita dell’infanzia”, “Prometeo”. Dirige la rivista degli psicologi italiani “Psicologia Contemporanea”. E’ stata collaboratore fisso per molti anni del Corriere Salute (Corriere della sera) e ora scrive saltuariamente su alcuni quotidiani e altre riviste.

Enrico Bottero è stato insegnante, Dirigente Scolastico e per molti anni ricercatore presso l’Istituto Regionale di Ricerca Educativa del Piemonte (già IR.R.S.A.E.). E’ membro del Comitato di redazione delle Rivista Infanzia e Educazione Aperta, del Comitato Scientifico della Rivista Encyclopaideia. È’ stato Professore presso la Facoltà di Scienze della formazione dell’Università di Torino. È stato Dirigente dell’Ufficio scuola e cultura presso i Consolati di Nizza e Marsiglia (Francia). Si è occupato di ricerca educativa e didattica sui temi dei metodi di insegnamento, sull’educazione musicale e sul sapere dell’insegnare in genere. Antonella Valeria Ferro Acuna Solis (Perù) – è una psicologa di professione e laureata con un master in Psicologia clinica dell’educazione dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza.
Per 6 anni ha lavorato in crociere con bambini di diversi paesi di età compresa tra 3 e 11 anni, l’esperienza con loro l’ha portato a vedere le grandi differenze nell’educazione che esiste con i bambini svantaggiati del Perù. Per questo motivo ha deciso di agire e provare a fare qualcosa per loro. Ha iniziato sostenendo in modo indipendente i bambini di Casas Hogares (luoghi di accoglienza di bambini) e nel tempo ha visto la necessità di espandere gli aiuti a un numero maggiore di bambini in situazione di vulnerabilità, a causa del loro status socioeconomico e del poco budget che il governo assegna all’educazione, questi bambini hanno poca o nessuna possibilità di ricevere educazione di qualità.
Ecco perché e grazie al sostegno dell’organizzazione olandese Stichting El Fuego, abbiamo fondato l’ONG Los Niños del Fuego, il cui obiettivo principale è aiutare i bambini delle popolazioni vulnerabili con difficoltà accademiche a superarle e poter formare solide basi per il loro sviluppo educativo. E’ ben consapevole delle condizioni o dei fattori che danneggiano lo sviluppo cognitivo/emotivo dei bambini, come la precarietà abitativa, la mancanza di cibo nutriente e la mancanza di istruzione dei genitori in vari momenti dello sviluppo dei loro figli, quindi oltre a fornire supporto educativo, offre periodicamente anche cibo nutriente e organizza laboratori settimanali con adulti e bambini dove vengono rafforzati concetti come alimentazione, igiene dentale, corrette abitudini igieniche, cura dell’ambiente, ecc., e infine, grazie ad accordi con diverse istituzioni, è riuscita a dare a questa popolazione a rischio la possibilità di partecipare a laboratori che stimolino il corretto sviluppo emotivo dei bambini e la corretta interazione tra bambini e adulti.

– ho collaborato con l’università svolgendo attività, in diversi anni, di tutor nel tirocinio di varie studentesse della facoltà di scienze della formazione primaria
-attualmente sto partecipando ad un progetto di ricerca internazionale dell’università degli Studi di Verona, facoltà di scienze della formazione primaria, sull’uso delle tecnologie nella scuola
– porto avanti un progetto che si chiama “non uno di meno” per il quale metto a punto percorsi, idee, strategie, sviluppo software, per dare la Miglior Scuola, quella che sa arrivare ad ogni bambino, con le migliori possibilità
Giulio De Vivo è un maestro di scuola primaria, formatore Ministeriale di secondo livello sulla valutazione periodica e finale degli apprendimenti delle alunne e degli alunni delle classi della scuola primaria (Ordinanza 172 del 4 dicembre 2020) e docente comandato ai Progetti Nazionali presso l’Ufficio Scolastico per le Marche, è referente provinciale Consulta Studentesca Pesaro Urbino e PCTO. Laureato con lode in Pedagogia presso l’Università di Urbino, ha insegnato dal 1992 grazie a diverse abilitazioni (AA, EE, PP), è in ruolo presso il Ministero delldal 2001.
E’ delegato territoriale per il Movimento di Cooperazione Educativa, ha partecipato ai Gruppi Nazionali ed alla Redazione, collabora con il Dipartimento RicercaAzione del Polo Europeo della Conoscenza (www.europole.org) ed ha collaborato con GriMed, Proteo, Università di Urbino, ha presieduto Associazioni Culturali e di Promozione Sociale ed organizzato centri estivi laboratoriali per 25 anni nel pesarese. Lorenzo Luatti è ricercatore dei processi migratori e delle relazioni interculturali presso Oxfam Italia, dove si occupa, tra l’altro, di progetti e interventi a contrasto della povertà educativa e della dispersione scolastica. I suoi studi attraversano i temi della pedagogia e della didattica interculturale, della sociologia delle migrazioni e della mediazione interculturale, della letteratura “migrante” e della letteratura per l’infanzia. Su questi temi collabora con Scuole, Università, Associazioni, Enti locali, Regioni e Organismi Nazionali, con numerose riviste scientifiche e scolastiche Ha pubblicato come autore numerosi volumi, tra cui: Storia sommersa delle migrazioni italiane (Iannone, 2020), L’emigrazione nei libri di scuola per l’Italia e per gli italiani all’estero (Tau-Fond. My name is Marian Blanco González, I was born in Valladolid (Spain). I studied the specialty of Special Education Teacher at the Faculty of Education (University of Valladolid), completing my initial training with the master’s degree on Psychopedagogy and one of the first European courses on Inclusive Education by the University of Exeter (UK).
Since 2000 I am working in the educational field; I started my career creating and founding a professional training module forwarded to youngers with mental health illness. I continued my working experience in different school levels (infant, primary, secondary and high schools) and in different roles (teacher, support teacher and pedagogical headmaster). On 2008 I obtained the research aptitude on the PhD Courses on Pedagogy.
On 2010 I started to conciliate my work at school with the work as an expert on the external team for supervising the compulsory diagnosis evaluations in primary schools. I completed my degree with specialization courses on autism, early-care education; diversity and gender, music therapy in education, active methodologies for promoting educational change, visual thinking and education in Europe. On 2014 I started to work as Head of the section for students with specific educational needs at the Regional Ministry of Education of Castle and León Autonomous Community (Spain).
Founder of the NGO Filomundo (www.filomundo.org), dedicated to support solidarity projects and actions with (and for) orphan children, many of them with disabilities, in the Republic of Buriatia (Siberia).
I am currently working as educational adviser in the General Directorate of Educational Organization, Educational Planning and Educational Equity in the Regional Ministry of Education already mentioned and I am the regional coordinator for European Education Projects linked to Equity in Education, inclusion and/or attention to diversity topics.

Interessi di ricerca
Si è occupato, sin dagli anni ’80, dei problemi dell’insegnamento della filosofia partecipando attivamente al dibattito nell’ambito della Società Filosofica Italiana e in altre sedi.
A partire dagli anni ’90 si è impegnato ad introdurre in Italia, insieme ad altri esperti, il curricolo della “Philosophy for Children” di M. Lipman contribuendo alla sua sperimentazione nelle scuole e alla ricerca in questo ambito. Ha, inoltre, sviluppato ricerche e sperimentazione nell’area dello sviluppo della professionalità docente sulla scorta del modello di “professionalità riflessiva” tematizzato da Donald Schön e muovendosi su una linea di pensiero di matrice deweyana.
Attualmente il tema centrale dei suoi interessi di ricerca si articola intorno alla relazione teoria-pratica, conoscere-agire nell’orizzonte della riflessione sull’epistemologia del sapere pratico e con riferimento all’area dello sviluppo della professionalità docente.

Elena Milli è una psicologa psicoterapeuta. Ha esperienza con bambini e adolescenti con bisogni educativi speciali, difficoltà comportamentali o sociali. È una formatrice a livello europeo ed esperta in robotica educativa e prosociale. Collabora da 7 anni con Europole in qualità di project officer e ricercatrice in progetti di ricerca e innovazione Horizon 2020 e in altri progetti Erasmus + su inclusione, robotica, plusdotazione, immigrazione, bullismo, STEM, formazione adulti, ecc. Ha coordinato un servizio di assistenza educativa per adolescenti a rischio, ha strutturato interventi psicologici, educativi e sociali in base alle esigenze individuali degli studenti, lavorando con insegnanti e genitori, in collaborazione con il servizio di assistenza sociale.

Paola Dusi (PhD) è Professora Associata di Pedagogia Generale e Sociale presso l’Università di Verona e direttrice del Centro di ricerca “Inclusion & Diversity”. Progetto Favolavà
Favolavà è un progetto aperto a tutti e vuole, promuovere il “gioco espressivo” con la proposta delle valigie teatrino corredate di burattini e tutto ciò che serve per fare uno spettacolo in famiglia e spegnere una sera la TV
Nasce alla fine degli anni ’80 ideato da Marco Scacchetti che operava nel C.R.E.A un centro culturale di LEGAMBIENTE di Verona per un’ecologia della mente. Nel 1994, la scelta di rinunciare agli spettacoli per offrire esclusivamente i teatrini in valigia.
La risposta è stata straordinaria. Anche RAI 1 con la trasmissione“ Pianeta Infanzia” ha raccontato la nostra attività, nel ’91 e nel ’93, così come molte testate nazionali.
Dal 2007 Favolavà distribuisce settimanalmente le valigie teatrino, fino ad oggi, più di mille famiglie veronesi hanno utilizzato le valigie in famiglia, grazie anche alla Biblioteca Civica di Verona, che le distribuisce dal 2017,
La condivisione e’ l’ aspetto che ha caratterizzato ogni fase del progetto: dalla costruzione delle valigie da parte di volontari, alla distribuzione alla promozione.
Dal 2014 Favolavà propone alle scuole di realizzare insieme le nuove valigie, e molti Centri Anziani del Comune di Verona hanno lavorato per il progetto. Così come molti artisti veronesi . Nel 2015 sono stati presentati alla città con la Mostra dei teatrini d’Autore al Palazzo della Gran Guardia. Dal 2016 Favolavà è un appuntamento fisso al Festival Internazionale dei Giochi di Strada di Verona “ Tocatì”
Grazie al progetto europeo Rights, promosso dal Polo Europeo della Conoscenza, l’ esperienza di Favolavà è arrivata nelle scuole veronesi, ed anche in altri paesi europei, coinvolgendo operatori di associazioni internazionali interessate al messaggio di conoscenza e sensibilizzazione sui diritti umani, grazie alle fiabe in valigia.

Sono nato a Verona nel 1958 e vivo a Colognola ai Colli.
Ho sempre amato leggere e scrivere, per cui mi sono cimentato in varie attività professionali relative all’universo-libro.
Attività giornalistica
Ho scritto per parecchi anni sul settimanale L’Adige di Verona e attualmente collaboro con La Cronaca di Verona e altri periodici.
Sono direttore responsabile della rivista Inchiostro e di alcune riviste locali.
Consulenza editoriale e grafica
Ho lavorato per diverse testate locali.
In ambito grafico ho tenuto lezioni allo IED di Milano e Roma e il mio lavoro è stato oggetto di studio in due tesi prodotte nell’Università di Milano e di Reggio Emilia.
Attività nel sociale
Da una decina di anni collaboro con I Fantastici 15 onlus, coordinando un gruppo di ragazzi che si riconoscono nelle manifestazioni autistiche, arrivando a dare alle stampe il giornale omonimo e una serie di libri scritti dai ragazzi.
Dal 2021 contribuisco alla realizzazione del periodico Linea gialla con I Fantastici 15 onlus e il Gruppo Asperger Veneto.
Attività nelle scuole
Dal 2013 ho portato avanti una serie di progetti di alternanza scuola lavoro “Spiriti Libri” con il Liceo Artistico Statale, il Liceo Messedaglia e il Liceo Agli Angeli di Verona, pubblicando svariati libri scritti dagli studenti.
In seguito ho portato avanti numerosi corsi di scrittura creativa nella scuola primaria e secondaria inferiore portando alla pubblicazione i racconti degli studenti.
In collaborazione con il Polo Europeo della Conoscenza ho collaborato ai progetti “The influence of books”, Pearl”, “Plastic free” e “Rights”, tenendo incontri e lezioni nelle scuole e pubblicado altrettanti libri scritti dai ragazzi.

Promozione culturale
Come vicepreesidente dell’associazione Fantàsia ho contribuito alla posa del monumento a Salgari davanti alla Biblioteca Civica di verona e ho dato vita ad alcuni Festival della Fantasia e dell’Avventura a Verona e in provincia, con la partecipazione di scuole, autori, compagnie teatrali e associazioni culturali.

Il mio primo racconto comparve nel 1978 sulle pagine del magazine padovano The time machine.
“Cresciuto a pane e Urania”, sono un appassionato lettore ed estimatore della narrativa, soprattutto di genere. Nei miei scritti provo spesso a rovesciare i punti vista consueti per mettere a nudo, sotto il riflettore del fantastico e dell’assurdo, le ambiguità del vivere.

Direttore responsabile della rivista Inchiostro e di alcune riviste locali, alterna scrittura, consulenza editoriale e creatività grafica. In quest’ultimo ambito ha tenuto lezioni allo IED di Milano e Roma e il suo lavoro è stato oggetto di studio in due tesi prodotte nell’Università di Milano e di Reggio Emilia.
I am Héctor Pariente Martínez, born in San Sebastián (Spain) and living in Valladolid.
I have studied at the Faculty of Education of Valladolid the specialty of Musical Education, as well as professional guitar studies at the Conservatory.
Since 1997 I have been working as a teacher in Music Education, performing this task uninterruptedly until today. I have worked in rural schools for many years and I currently teach at the “El Peral” school located in a neighborhood in the city of Valladolid where I have held the role of head of studies for 4 years.
In addition, I have worked as a monitor of leisure and free time activities at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Cantabria) developing a journalism workshop.
In my first years of training, I studied Italian obtaining the Italian language certificate at the Official Language School of Valladolid.
During these almost 23 years as a teaching professional, I have been completing my specialization in different areas: how to motivate pupils to read, design and development of websites, educational management in primary schools; music and communication. I have also participated in various Congresses, Meetings, Seminars and Education Conferences
In addition, I have collaborated in the publication of the Popular Songbook made by the Foundation Guanelliani.
At present I am developing in my school the role of school coordinator of the Plastic free Project Movement within the Nobody less network. This allows me to carry out actions aimed at favoring the environment, always thanks to the collaboration of colleagues and teachers from different schools.
Professor Doctor Rosemary Sage is a qualified speech pathologist, psychologist and teacher; former Dean at the College of Teachers, where she led the first Practitioner Doctorate, sponsored by the European Commission.
She was Director of Speech and Language Services in Leicester/Leicestershire; a Teacher in Primary and Secondary schools; Senior Language Advisor to an LEA; an Academic in 4 universities: Head of Department and Professor of Communication at Liverpool and a visiting Professor in Cuba and Japan.
Rosemary is on the Queen’s Panel for Education and Industry Awards. She sat on the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee as a senior magistrate (Chairperson & Judicial Mentor) and is presently on the judicial executive and a member of the Magistrates in the Community (MIC) project. She is on a national committee for education, training and professional development.
Rosemary was a founder member of the Children’s Legal Panel and expert witness for Educational appeals; on Parliamentary Committees for Medicine and Education, the Teaching of Medical Sciences, Inclusion of Students with Special Needs & Education Advisor to the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
She has been a trustee of several charities, a school governor and member of many research boards. She has led international research projects on language, education and employment and medical-educational issues (e.g. Intercultural Communication Lead on the EU 27 Nation Project on Diversity).
She has published many books and over 150 refereed papers in journals. She has gained national/international awards for the Communication Opportunity Group Strategy (COGS) and is a winner of the Kenneth Allsop Memorial Prize, Bullard Prize, Gimson Award, International Human Communication Network Medal, The College of Teacher’s Research Award & Leverhulme Fellowship amongst others.
Rosemary is a Millennium & TCOT Fellow and SEND Director for the Learning for Life Educational Trust, as well as Scientific Advisor at Abai University, Kazakhstan and a Judge for the English Speaking Union.
My name is Jurgita Vaitiekuniene, I was born in Panevezys (Lithuania). In 1995 I graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute where I gained a qualification of Primary and basic school technology teacher. In 2002 I graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical University (LT), program of Basics of economics and business pedagogy. In 2014 I became a Master of Educational Leadership in ISM (University of Management and Economics).
Since 1995 I have been working in the educational field (teacher, deputy director, headmistress). In addition to the position of director in the period of 2007-2018 I was employed as an external evaluator for the National School Evaluation Agency. I participated in external evaluation of more than 20 Lithuanian schools. Since 2012 I have been leading Panevėžys District Education Centre and also a department of Pedagogical –psychological service (Lithuania). The main fields of the Centre are development of teachers’ qualification, non-formal education of students in sports and a pedagogical psychological support for children, teachers and parents of Panevėžys district. I am a member of a wide range of working groups related to the formation of Lithuanian education policy, I actively contribute to the development and implementation of the education policy of Panevėžys district. In 2016 I established the Third Age University for seniors of Panevėžys district. At the moment the Third Age University is attended by 750 senior students.
Since 2016 I have been a partner of international Erasmus + KA2 and KA3 projects. I am responsible for coordination of the projects in Lithuania. The main fields of the projects are prosocial values, robotics, peaceful education, inclusive education and STEAM.
Together with my son I established an association “Tell me More” (https://vaitiekunasvilius.wixsite.com/papasakokplaciau). We founded the association in order to meaningfully contribute to Lithuanian culture, education and social life.

Dr. Vandana Shiva is trained as a Physicist and did her Ph.D. on the subject “Hidden Variables and Non-locality in Quantum Theory” from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. She later shifted to inter-disciplinary research in science, technology and environmental policy, which she carried out at the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India
In 1982, she founded an independent institute, the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology in Dehra Dun dedicated to high quality and independent research to address the most significant ecological and social issues of our times, in close partnership with local communities and social movements. In 1991, she founded Navdanya, a national movement to protect the diversity and integrity of living resources, especially native seed, the promotion of organic farming and fair trade. For the last two decades Navdanya has worked with local communities and organizations serving more than 5,00,000 men and women farmers. Navdanya’s efforts have resulted in conservation of more than 3000 rice varieties from all over the country and have established 60 seed banks in 16 states across the country. In 2004 she started Bija Vidyapeeth, an international college for sustainable living in Doon Valley in collaboration with Schumacher College, U.K.
Dr. Shiva combines the sharp intellectual enquiry with courageous activism. She is equally at ease working with peasants in rural India and teaching in Universities worldwide.
Time Magazine identified Dr. Shiva as an environmental “hero” in 2003 and Asia Week has called her one of the five most powerful communicators of Asia. Forbes magazine in November 2010 has identified Dr. Vandana Shiva as one of the top Seven most Powerful Women on the Globe
Dr. Shiva has contributed in fundamental ways to changing the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food. Her books, “The Violence of Green Revolution” and “Monocultures of the Mind” have become basic challenges to the dominant paradigm of non-sustainable, reductionist Green Revolution Agriculture. Through her books Biopiracy, Stolen Harvest, Water Wars, Dr. Shiva has made visible the social, economic and ecological costs of corporate led globalization. Dr. Shiva chairs the Commission on the Future of Food set up by the Region of Tuscany in Italy. She is a Board Member of the International Forum on Globalization and a member of the Steering Committee of the Indian People’s Campaign against WTO. She also serves on Government of India Committees on Organic Farming.
The area of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Biodiversity is another area where Dr. Shiva has contributed intellectually and through campaigns. Through her leadership and commitments, Dr. Shiva and her team at the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology successfully challenged the biopiracy of Neem, Basmati and Wheat. Besides her activism, she has also served on expert groups of government on Biodiversity and IPR legislation.
Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering are another dimension of Dr. Shiva’s campaigning internationally. She has helped movements in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Ireland, Switzerland and Austria with their campaigns against genetic engineering. In 2003, with movements worldwide she launched the global citizens campaign on the WTO GMO dispute between U.S and Europe.
Dr. Shiva’s contributions to gender issues are nationally and internationally recognized. Her book, “Staying Alive” dramatically shifted the perception of Third World women. In 1990 she wrote a report for the FAO on Women and Agriculture entitled, “Most Farmers in India are Women”. She founded the gender unit at the International Centre for Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu and was a founding Board Member of the Women Environment and Development Organization (WEDO).
She has initiated an international movement of women working of food, agriculture, patents and biotechnology called, Diverse Women for Diversity. The movement was launched formally in Bratislava, Slovakia on 1-2 May 1998. Diverse Women for Diversity has carried out studies for the National Commission of Women and the Department of Science and Technology.
Dr. Shiva is on the National Board of Organic Standards of India. She also works with the Governments of Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttaranchal for the promotion of organic farming. She has been invited by the Planning Commission to be a member of the expert group on environment, the expert group on nutrition and the expert group on voluntary sector.
She serves on Prince Charles’s expert group on Sustainable Agriculture. Dr. Shiva is a member of President Zapatero’s Scientific Committee. Dr. Vandana Shiva has also worked in a feature film “Harmony” along with HRH The Prince of Wales . Dr Shiva advises Governments worldwide and is working with the Government of Bhutan to make Bhutan 100% organic. She is working with the Governments of Tuscany and Rome to create a hopeful and livable future for young people in these times of crisis.

Dr. Shiva has been a visiting professor and lectured at the Universities of Oslo, Norway, Schumacher College, U.K. Mt. Alberto Oliverio is part of the editorial board of numerous scientific journals. He was a founding member of the Italian Society of Ethology and of the Italian Society of Neurosciences. E’ stato presidente della Società Italiana di Etologia, dell’Istituto Italiano di Antropologia e della Società Italiana di Neuroetica. Membro dell’Académie Européenne Internationale des Sciences, Parigi. Oltre ad organizzare e prendere parte a congressi e meeting nel campo specifico della biologia del comportamento e delle neuroscienze ha preso parte a numerose conferenze centrate sul tema dei rapporti tra neuroscienze -e biologia- e società tra cui quelle organizzate dall’Aspen Institute, dall’Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, dall’Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana, dalla Comunità Economica Europea,dall’Associazione Europea delle Neuroscienze . E’ autore di oltre 400 pubblicazioni scientifiche e di volumi nel campo della genetica del comportamento, del ruolo comportamentale degli oppioidi, dello stress e della memoria tra cui Genetics, Environment and Intelligence (Elsevier 1977), The Behavior of Human Infants (Plenum Press 1981) e The Psychobiology of Stress (Kluver, 1990). Anna Oliverio Ferraris dal 1966 al 1971 ha operato presso l’università di Torino come assistente alla cattedra di Psicologia Sperimentale. Dal 1971 è stata assistente di ruolo nel Corso di laurea in Psicologia dell’Università di Roma dove nel 1975 ha ricoperto l’incarico di Psicologia dell’età evolutiva e dal 1980 è professore ordinario di Psicologia dello sviluppo. E’ stata membro della Consulta Qualità della Rai e del Comitato Nazionale di Bioetica. E’ autrice di saggi, numerosi articoli scientifici e testi scolatici in cui affronta i temi dello sviluppo normale e patologico, dell’educazione, della famiglia, della scuola, della formazione, della comunicazione in contesti diversi, del rapporto con tv e nuovi media, delle dinamiche identitarie nella società contemporanea.
Ha partecipato e continua a partecipare a numerosi convegni culturali e conferenze, sia in Italia che all’estero. Ha organizzato e partecipato in qualità di docente a corsi di formazione sui problemi della crescita, i nuovi media, il disadattamento, il bullismo, i fattori protettivi e il recupero, l’adolescenza, la devianza minorile, la pedofilia, l’adozione, la comunicazione in classe e in famiglia, rivolti a insegnanti, pediatri, psicologi, psicoterapeuti e associazioni di genitori.
Collabora regolarmente e da anni con le seguenti riviste: “Vita Scolastica”, “La scuola dell’infanzia”, “Vita dell’infanzia”, “Prometeo”. Dirige la rivista degli psicologi italiani “Psicologia Contemporanea”. E’ stata collaboratore fisso per molti anni del Corriere Salute (Corriere della sera) e ora scrive saltuariamente su alcuni quotidiani e altre riviste.

Enrico Bottero è stato insegnante, Dirigente Scolastico e per molti anni ricercatore presso l’Istituto Regionale di Ricerca Educativa del Piemonte (già IR.R.S.A.E.). E’ membro del Comitato di redazione delle Rivista Infanzia e Educazione Aperta, del Comitato Scientifico della Rivista Encyclopaideia. È’ stato Professore presso la Facoltà di Scienze della formazione dell’Università di Torino. È stato Dirigente dell’Ufficio scuola e cultura presso i Consolati di Nizza e Marsiglia (Francia). Si è occupato di ricerca educativa e didattica sui temi dei metodi di insegnamento, sull’educazione musicale e sul sapere dell’insegnare in genere. Antonella Valeria Ferro Acuna Solis (Perù) – è una psicologa di professione e laureata con un master in Psicologia clinica dell’educazione dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza.
Per 6 anni ha lavorato in crociere con bambini di diversi paesi di età compresa tra 3 e 11 anni, l’esperienza con loro l’ha portato a vedere le grandi differenze nell’educazione che esiste con i bambini svantaggiati del Perù. Per questo motivo ha deciso di agire e provare a fare qualcosa per loro. Ha iniziato sostenendo in modo indipendente i bambini di Casas Hogares (luoghi di accoglienza di bambini) e nel tempo ha visto la necessità di espandere gli aiuti a un numero maggiore di bambini in situazione di vulnerabilità, a causa del loro status socioeconomico e del poco budget che il governo assegna all’educazione, questi bambini hanno poca o nessuna possibilità di ricevere educazione di qualità.
Ecco perché e grazie al sostegno dell’organizzazione olandese Stichting El Fuego, abbiamo fondato l’ONG Los Niños del Fuego, il cui obiettivo principale è aiutare i bambini delle popolazioni vulnerabili con difficoltà accademiche a superarle e poter formare solide basi per il loro sviluppo educativo. E’ ben consapevole delle condizioni o dei fattori che danneggiano lo sviluppo cognitivo/emotivo dei bambini, come la precarietà abitativa, la mancanza di cibo nutriente e la mancanza di istruzione dei genitori in vari momenti dello sviluppo dei loro figli, quindi oltre a fornire supporto educativo, offre periodicamente anche cibo nutriente e organizza laboratori settimanali con adulti e bambini dove vengono rafforzati concetti come alimentazione, igiene dentale, corrette abitudini igieniche, cura dell’ambiente, ecc., e infine, grazie ad accordi con diverse istituzioni, è riuscita a dare a questa popolazione a rischio la possibilità di partecipare a laboratori che stimolino il corretto sviluppo emotivo dei bambini e la corretta interazione tra bambini e adulti.

Giulio De Vivo è un maestro di scuola primaria, formatore Ministeriale di secondo livello sulla valutazione periodica e finale degli apprendimenti delle alunne e degli alunni delle classi della scuola primaria (Ordinanza 172 del 4 dicembre 2020) e docente comandato ai Progetti Nazionali presso l’Ufficio Scolastico per le Marche, è referente provinciale Consulta Studentesca Pesaro Urbino e PCTO. Laureato con lode in Pedagogia presso l’Università di Urbino, ha insegnato dal 1992 grazie a diverse abilitazioni (AA, EE, PP), è in ruolo presso il Ministero delldal 2001.
E’ delegato territoriale per il Movimento di Cooperazione Educativa, ha partecipato ai Gruppi Nazionali ed alla Redazione, collabora con il Dipartimento RicercaAzione del Polo Europeo della Conoscenza (www.europole.org) ed ha collaborato con GriMed, Proteo, Università di Urbino, ha presieduto Associazioni Culturali e di Promozione Sociale ed organizzato centri estivi laboratoriali per 25 anni nel pesarese. Lorenzo Luatti è ricercatore dei processi migratori e delle relazioni interculturali presso Oxfam Italia, dove si occupa, tra l’altro, di progetti e interventi a contrasto della povertà educativa e della dispersione scolastica. I suoi studi attraversano i temi della pedagogia e della didattica interculturale, della sociologia delle migrazioni e della mediazione interculturale, della letteratura “migrante” e della letteratura per l’infanzia. Su questi temi collabora con Scuole, Università, Associazioni, Enti locali, Regioni e Organismi Nazionali, con numerose riviste scientifiche e scolastiche Ha pubblicato come autore numerosi volumi, tra cui: Storia sommersa delle migrazioni italiane (Iannone, 2020), L’emigrazione nei libri di scuola per l’Italia e per gli italiani all’estero (Tau-Fond. My name is Marian Blanco González, I was born in Valladolid (Spain). I studied the specialty of Special Education Teacher at the Faculty of Education (University of Valladolid), completing my initial training with the master’s degree on Psychopedagogy and one of the first European courses on Inclusive Education by the University of Exeter (UK).
Since 2000 I am working in the educational field; I started my career creating and founding a professional training module forwarded to youngers with mental health illness. I continued my working experience in different school levels (infant, primary, secondary and high schools) and in different roles (teacher, support teacher and pedagogical headmaster). On 2008 I obtained the research aptitude on the PhD Courses on Pedagogy.
On 2010 I started to conciliate my work at school with the work as an expert on the external team for supervising the compulsory diagnosis evaluations in primary schools. I completed my degree with specialization courses on autism, early-care education; diversity and gender, music therapy in education, active methodologies for promoting educational change, visual thinking and education in Europe. On 2014 I started to work as Head of the section for students with specific educational needs at the Regional Ministry of Education of Castle and León Autonomous Community (Spain).
Founder of the NGO Filomundo (www.filomundo.org), dedicated to support solidarity projects and actions with (and for) orphan children, many of them with disabilities, in the Republic of Buriatia (Siberia).
I am currently working as educational adviser in the General Directorate of Educational Organization, Educational Planning and Educational Equity in the Regional Ministry of Education already mentioned and I am the regional coordinator for European Education Projects linked to Equity in Education, inclusion and/or attention to diversity topics.

Interessi di ricerca
Si è occupato, sin dagli anni ’80, dei problemi dell’insegnamento della filosofia partecipando attivamente al dibattito nell’ambito della Società Filosofica Italiana e in altre sedi.
A partire dagli anni ’90 si è impegnato ad introdurre in Italia, insieme ad altri esperti, il curricolo della “Philosophy for Children” di M. Lipman contribuendo alla sua sperimentazione nelle scuole e alla ricerca in questo ambito. Ha, inoltre, sviluppato ricerche e sperimentazione nell’area dello sviluppo della professionalità docente sulla scorta del modello di “professionalità riflessiva” tematizzato da Donald Schön e muovendosi su una linea di pensiero di matrice deweyana.
Attualmente il tema centrale dei suoi interessi di ricerca si articola intorno alla relazione teoria-pratica, conoscere-agire nell’orizzonte della riflessione sull’epistemologia del sapere pratico e con riferimento all’area dello sviluppo della professionalità docente.

Elena Milli è una psicologa psicoterapeuta. Ha esperienza con bambini e adolescenti con bisogni educativi speciali, difficoltà comportamentali o sociali. È una formatrice a livello europeo ed esperta in robotica educativa e prosociale. Collabora da 7 anni con Europole in qualità di project officer e ricercatrice in progetti di ricerca e innovazione Horizon 2020 e in altri progetti Erasmus + su inclusione, robotica, plusdotazione, immigrazione, bullismo, STEM, formazione adulti, ecc. Ha coordinato un servizio di assistenza educativa per adolescenti a rischio, ha strutturato interventi psicologici, educativi e sociali in base alle esigenze individuali degli studenti, lavorando con insegnanti e genitori, in collaborazione con il servizio di assistenza sociale.

Paola Dusi (PhD) è Professora Associata di Pedagogia Generale e Sociale presso l’Università di Verona e direttrice del Centro di ricerca “Inclusion & Diversity”. Progetto Favolavà
Favolavà è un progetto aperto a tutti e vuole, promuovere il “gioco espressivo” con la proposta delle valigie teatrino corredate di burattini e tutto ciò che serve per fare uno spettacolo in famiglia e spegnere una sera la TV
Nasce alla fine degli anni ’80 ideato da Marco Scacchetti che operava nel C.R.E.A un centro culturale di LEGAMBIENTE di Verona per un’ecologia della mente. Nel 1994, la scelta di rinunciare agli spettacoli per offrire esclusivamente i teatrini in valigia.
La risposta è stata straordinaria. Anche RAI 1 con la trasmissione“ Pianeta Infanzia” ha raccontato la nostra attività, nel ’91 e nel ’93, così come molte testate nazionali.
Dal 2007 Favolavà distribuisce settimanalmente le valigie teatrino, fino ad oggi, più di mille famiglie veronesi hanno utilizzato le valigie in famiglia, grazie anche alla Biblioteca Civica di Verona, che le distribuisce dal 2017,
La condivisione e’ l’ aspetto che ha caratterizzato ogni fase del progetto: dalla costruzione delle valigie da parte di volontari, alla distribuzione alla promozione.
Dal 2014 Favolavà propone alle scuole di realizzare insieme le nuove valigie, e molti Centri Anziani del Comune di Verona hanno lavorato per il progetto. Così come molti artisti veronesi . Nel 2015 sono stati presentati alla città con la Mostra dei teatrini d’Autore al Palazzo della Gran Guardia. Dal 2016 Favolavà è un appuntamento fisso al Festival Internazionale dei Giochi di Strada di Verona “ Tocatì”
Grazie al progetto europeo Rights, promosso dal Polo Europeo della Conoscenza, l’ esperienza di Favolavà è arrivata nelle scuole veronesi, ed anche in altri paesi europei, coinvolgendo operatori di associazioni internazionali interessate al messaggio di conoscenza e sensibilizzazione sui diritti umani, grazie alle fiabe in valigia.

Sono nato a Verona nel 1958 e vivo a Colognola ai Colli.
Ho sempre amato leggere e scrivere, per cui mi sono cimentato in varie attività professionali relative all’universo-libro.

Ho scritto per parecchi anni sul settimanale L’Adige di Verona e attualmente collaboro con La Cronaca di Verona e altri periodici.
Sono direttore responsabile della rivista Inchiostro e di alcune riviste locali.
Consulenza editoriale e grafica
Ho lavorato per diverse testate locali.
In ambito grafico ho tenuto lezioni allo IED di Milano e Roma e il mio lavoro è stato oggetto di studio in due tesi prodotte nell’Università di Milano e di Reggio Emilia.
Attività nel sociale
Da una decina di anni collaboro con I Fantastici 15 onlus, coordinando un gruppo di ragazzi che si riconoscono nelle manifestazioni autistiche, arrivando a dare alle stampe il giornale omonimo e una serie di libri scritti dai ragazzi.
Dal 2021 contribuisco alla realizzazione del periodico Linea gialla con I Fantastici 15 onlus e il Gruppo Asperger Veneto.
Attività nelle scuole
Dal 2013 ho portato avanti una serie di progetti di alternanza scuola lavoro “Spiriti Libri” con il Liceo Artistico Statale, il Liceo Messedaglia e il Liceo Agli Angeli di Verona, pubblicando svariati libri scritti dagli studenti.
In seguito ho portato avanti numerosi corsi di scrittura creativa nella scuola primaria e secondaria inferiore portando alla pubblicazione i racconti degli studenti.
In collaborazione con il Polo Europeo della Conoscenza ho collaborato ai progetti “The influence of books”, Pearl”, “Plastic free” e “Rights”, tenendo incontri e lezioni nelle scuole e pubblicado altrettanti libri scritti dai ragazzi.

Promozione culturale
Come vicepreesidente dell’associazione Fantàsia ho contribuito alla posa del monumento a Salgari davanti alla Biblioteca Civica di verona e ho dato vita ad alcuni Festival della Fantasia e dell’Avventura a Verona e in provincia, con la partecipazione di scuole, autori, compagnie teatrali e associazioni culturali.

Il mio primo racconto comparve nel 1978 sulle pagine del magazine padovano The time machine.
“Cresciuto a pane e Urania”, sono un appassionato lettore ed estimatore della narrativa, soprattutto di genere. Nei miei scritti provo spesso a rovesciare i punti vista consueti per mettere a nudo, sotto il riflettore del fantastico e dell’assurdo, le ambiguità del vivere.

Direttore responsabile della rivista Inchiostro e di alcune riviste locali, alterna scrittura, consulenza editoriale e creatività grafica. In quest’ultimo ambito ha tenuto lezioni allo IED di Milano e Roma e il suo lavoro è stato oggetto di studio in due tesi prodotte nell’Università di Milano e di Reggio Emilia.
I am Héctor Pariente Martínez, born in San Sebastián (Spain) and living in Valladolid.
I have studied at the Faculty of Education of Valladolid the specialty of Musical Education, as well as professional guitar studies at the Conservatory.
Since 1997 I have been working as a teacher in Music Education, performing this task uninterruptedly until today. I have worked in rural schools for many years and I currently teach at the “El Peral” school located in a neighborhood in the city of Valladolid where I have held the role of head of studies for 4 years.
In addition, I have worked as a monitor of leisure and free time activities at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Cantabria) developing a journalism workshop.
In my first years of training, I studied Italian obtaining the Italian language certificate at the Official Language School of Valladolid.
During these almost 23 years as a teaching professional, I have been completing my specialization in different areas: how to motivate pupils to read, design and development of websites, educational management in primary schools; music and communication. I have also participated in various Congresses, Meetings, Seminars and Education Conferences
In addition, I have collaborated in the publication of the Popular Songbook made by the Foundation Guanelliani.
At present I am developing in my school the role of school coordinator of the Plastic free Project Movement within the Nobody less network. This allows me to carry out actions aimed at favoring the environment, always thanks to the collaboration of colleagues and teachers from different schools.
Professor Doctor Rosemary Sage is a qualified speech pathologist, psychologist and teacher; former Dean at the College of Teachers, where she led the first Practitioner Doctorate, sponsored by the European Commission. She was Director of Speech and Language Services in Leicester/Leicestershire; a Teacher in Primary and Secondary schools; Senior Language Advisor to an LEA; an Academic in 4 universities: Head of Department and Professor of Communication at Liverpool and a visiting Professor in Cuba and Japan. Rosemary is on the Queen’s Panel for Education and Industry Awards. She sat on the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee as a senior magistrate (Chairperson & Judicial Mentor) and is presently on the judicial executive and a member of the Magistrates in the Community (MIC) project. She is on a national committee for education, training and professional development. Rosemary was a founder member of the Children’s Legal Panel and expert witness for Educational appeals; on Parliamentary Committees for Medicine and Education, the Teaching of Medical Sciences, Inclusion of Students with Special Needs & Education Advisor to the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. She has been a trustee of several charities, a school governor and member of many research boards. She has led international research projects on language, education and employment and medical-educational issues (e.g. Intercultural Communication Lead on the EU 27 Nation Project on Diversity). She has published many books and over 150 refereed papers in journals. She has gained national/international awards for the Communication Opportunity Group Strategy (COGS) and is a winner of the Kenneth Allsop Memorial Prize, Bullard Prize, Gimson Award, International Human Communication Network Medal, The College of Teacher’s Research Award & Leverhulme Fellowship amongst others. Rosemary is a Millennium & TCOT Fellow and SEND Director for the Learning for Life Educational Trust, as well as Scientific Advisor at Abai University, Kazakhstan and a Judge for the English Speaking Union.
My name is Jurgita Vaitiekuniene, I was born in Panevezys (Lithuania). In 1995 I graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute where I gained a qualification of Primary and basic school technology teacher. In 2002 I graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical University (LT), program of Basics of economics and business pedagogy. In 2014 I became a Master of Educational Leadership in ISM (University of Management and Economics).
Since 1995 I have been working in educational field (teacher, deputy director, headmistress). In addition to the position of director in the period of 2007-2018 I was employed as an external evaluator for the National School Evaluation Agency. I participated in external evaluation of more than 20 Lithuanian schools. Since 2012 I have been leading Panevėžys District Education Centre and also a department of Pedagogical –psychological service (Lithuania). The main fields of the Centre are development of teachers’ qualification, non-formal education of students in sports and a pedagogical psychological support for children, teachers and parents of Panevėžys district. I am a member of a wide range of working groups related to the formation of Lithuanian education policy, I actively contribute to the development and implementation of the education policy of Panevėžys district. In 2016 I established the Third Age University for seniors of Panevėžys district. At the moment the Third Age University is attended by 750 senior students.
Since 2016 I have been a partner of international Erasmus + KA2 and KA3 projects. I am responsible for coordination of the projects in Lithuania. The main fields of the projects are prosocial values, robotics, peaceful education, inclusive education and STEAM.
Together with my son I established an association “Tell me More” (https://vaitiekunasvilius.wixsite.com/papasakokplaciau). We founded the association in order to meaningfully contribute to Lithuanian culture, education and social life.
