ANK School, Pécs, Hungary

Our school is located in Pécs, in the south-west of Hungary. The city has a population of 160,000. We are proud that Pécs was the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2010. Many parks, squares and public buildings were built or renewed on that occasion.  There is a late Roman Paleo Christian cemetery in our city which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2000. We are a secondary school, which is part of the Apáczai Education Centre. The secondary school, two elementary schools, a students’ hostel, and an art school belong to this modern institution. The secondary school has 357 students and 31 teachers. There are 12 classes. The classes are specialised at bilingual English and advanced English, information technology and human science.
